Does R.C. sell videos from the week of your cruise ?

They sell a DVD called the "Cruise in Review" from the same company that sells the pictures. We've never bought it, so I can't give details on it other than the fact that it is sold.

We always get it because there's been a package that includes 4 8x10s for the price of 3 plus the video, Frames and a ship pic.

 

Usually watch it a week or so after we get back, the.n It joins "Charlie in the Box" at the island of unwanted toys.

True. The format has changed from previous Cruise in Review videos. The video I purchased a couple of weeks ago had a different voice and did not go into specifics about port stops relative to our cruise. The second half of the video advertised other sailings and appeared to have been lifted from the stateroom TV RCI channel.

 

The "behind the scenes" segments were sharply cut back.

 

Wondering how long these videos will be available in DVD form. Will the future bring downloads and passwords to be purchased?

Well that's sad. I was wanting to get it for my son but now it sounds like it's just a waste of money

RCTV plays Cruise in Review during the last day, and from what I have seen, the DVD isn't worth the money.

I am not sure about RC but on Carnival they made cruise videos for each voyage.

 

There was video crew around the ship filming all the events, activities, shows, and poolside.

 

They would be in the ports and even go on some of the popular excursions.

 

Highlights were shown nightly on TV and full edited copies were sold at the end.

 

I have not seen that for some time now. Guess it was not worth the costs.........
