Does the Sun still have the box type hair dryer with the hose or have the hair dryers finally been updated?

I just got off on Monday and they still had this type of dryer in my room. Maybe they'll be replaced once the ship is updated (this summer I believe).

We had a regular hair dryer in a mini suite on the Sun in February. It was old but worked fine.

Good to know. Hopefully our mini suite will have a regular hair dryer when we sail in October. Although every time I go to a hot and humid climate my hair goes to frizz city anyway :eek: so even a hair dryer won't help me then!

Thanks. I was hoping they'd been switched out by now, but I guess I'll bring my small travel blow dryer.

I bring my full-sized dryer EVERYWHERE I go! I need the blowing power of a full-sized!

Since refurbishing, do we have an update on the hairdryer "situation"? Really don't want to bring mine unless I really have to.

The photo is still accurate for the balcony cabin on my voyage in December 2016.

I can live with this. I'm just happy to see it in the bathroom instead of on the vanity in the main cabin like so many ships. I get up earlier than my spouse and always wake her up drying my hair a few feet from the bed.
