bobstack Posted May 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2016 Fellow Cruisers; We are on our last day at sea on Carnival Breeze, and will arrive at Galveston tomorrow, May 29th. We were surprised this Saturday morning when we woke up and found our special guest on our aft balcony! Since we are in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, he must have been looking for rest, and possibly some of those delicious treats from the LIDO Deck. But alas, our room attendants corralled him carefully with a beach towel, and sent him safely back in the air. Just one of those unexpected pleasures on our cruise. Hope you have your unexpected pleasures on your next cruise, too! Bob and Donna From Dallas / Ft. Worth
tea4ular Posted May 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2016 I have heard it said that that is good luck!
loubetti Posted May 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2016 We have a guest in our house right now, and has taken up residence under the piano, it won't be the first time for such either. Ya' can't catch them, but if I don't he'll be dead in a week or so. I love these critters, but there's no insects to eat in the house. Generic photo, but pretty much the look and size of our guest! bobstack Posted May 28, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted May 28, 2016 Thank you, both, for your replies. Our first concern was that our feathered friend not get hurt, and return to the air safely. We don't know how long our special friend was on the balcony, but he sure gave us a treat to the end of our cruise. Hoping your next cruise has a good surprise, too! Micahs Grandad Posted May 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Looks like same one that joined us on our cruise back from Hawaii last year. Must be female with poor sense of direction:):)

Sabalon Posted June 1, 2016 #10 Share Posted June 1, 2016 I love these critters, but there's no insects to eat in the house. Maybe there is a reason you don't have insects in the house to eat - he's doing a good job :) Good luck helping him out.
