Can you handle "too many" Allure pictures?

We took an afternoon nap, then felt the ship shaking a bit. I thought that was strange since the ship was extremely quiet the whole week. The shaking stopped and it was quiet again. A walk onto the balcony revealed that the ship was dead in the water. Not a movement at all. We saw the Coast Guard approaching from our balcony, and found out that a sick passenger was being transported to Key West. It is amazing how the ship's technology can hold it so stable for the safe transfer of the patient.

The water was almost like glass too - very smooth sailing:

Our suitcases got packed, and I took my traditional picture to make sure we get them all in port. Tip: Take a picture of your suitcases before you check them in with the porters, and before you put them in the hallway. If one gets lost, you can show guest services, or the authorities, a picture.

One thing I forgot to mention is the Headliner Show with Ronn Lucas. He was hilarious and absolutely worth the time! My husband and I agreed that he was the second best headliner act in all our Royal Caribbean cruises. Ronn is the ventriloquist (on the right), with a passenger wearing a mask:

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale to another beautiful sunrise from our balcony.

We opted for our traditional breakfast in the main dining room, as we like the calm conclusion to our cruise, rather than the madhouse that the Windjammer could be. (I highly recommend the MDR for debarkation breakfast). There were two lines for the MDR - one for buffet seating, and the other side for those of us who wanted to order from the menu.

We had tag number 6 for debarkation, and they called us early, before we got done eating. It was no problem, as we finished breakfast and disembarked before too long. The line for customs was long, but moved fast.

Park 'n' Go was at the port within 3 minutes after we got to the pickup area, and we were on the highway, with our free water from Park'n' Go, by 9:15.

Tomorrow, I will post Adventure Ocean pictures, info about your stateroom TV, and maybe some pictures I may have forgotten.

No problem. I have edited the pictures a bit to show more clearly how they work. The small wonders are these posts that look like they are just there for decoration, but they have a glass circle at the top (see the yellow arrow). You have to lean down and look into that glass to see a piece of hidden art inside. It is kind of like looking into a microscope (just larger).

The viewers look like binoculars on a stand. So, you look into them with both eyes to see the hidden art or picture:

Sadly, it is. I finally had to remove the 'Sailed' countdown clock from my signature...and that next cruise seems so far away. :(

At least we have Cruise Critic for more virtual cyber cruises. :D

As promised, I will be posting the Adventure Ocean info, as well as tips about the stateroom TV tonight.

But, before we get into that, I would like to point out that one of the better options on deck 3 for a "table for 2" is by the map. It is a bit more removed from neighboring tables. It does have quite a bit of foot traffic from waiters, but at least you can have a conversation without hearing the neighbors too. :)

I also have the bar menus of many of the bars on Allure posted in a thread here... in case anyone needs to calculate whether a package is worthwhile:

Unfortunately, I did not do the AO tour. That is the only time you can enter the rooms to take pictures. So, I only have a few. There is a movie theater with family time movies. The movie names are on the Adventure Ocean handouts.

Your stateroom TV has a wealth of information. I will post some of the info you can find on the TV here. You can make restaurant reservations, book shore excursions, and check you schedule. The departure survey allows you to request a time you want to debark the ship. We did the paper version, so I cannot report how well this works.

Of course, you also get a lot of SPAM e-mail about the spa, art auctions, shopping, etc. on your TV.
