I understand that you want to honor service folks but it is not really a "happy" holiday when its purpose is to remember fallen vets.

The best way to honor these brave men and women is to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy as a result of their service and sacrifice. In the words of General George S. Patton, "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived."

It's okay to say "happy" some of us are very "Happy for serving our County"

And happy to have served...
