I think these cabins look interesting and if I was on a very port intensive itinerary and wanted to save money, I would definitely consider one.

We just had one last week on Explorer and it was our first experience with one. My DW commented that she enjoyed it more than our typical ocean view because you get a much larger viewing range that the typical portal.

Sorry for the delayed response ... the cabin itself was like any other one (as quiet as your neighbors) and the virtual balcony emits no sound
