drowelf Posted June 17, 2016 #26 Share Posted June 17, 2016 We're happy we bought it when it was $18.24 in 2009..We've made quite a bit in OBC & dividends plus it continues to increase..It went up over 70cents today to $47.26.. Great Investment :) RCL has been an even better investment too. I've bought/sold both several times over the years as it rises and dips. And since I do this out of our SEP Brokerage Accounts, I don't have to worry about those pesky Capital Gains and Dividends taxes. :D
Rare geoherb Posted June 17, 2016 #27 Share Posted June 17, 2016 we sure have enjoyed our investment - anyone who cruises regularly with Carnival lines would be crazy not to buy at least 100 shares if they can afford it.Anyone who cruises regularly with Carnival lines should be able to afford 100 shares. I bought my shares in 2011. We've sailed 11 times on Carnival Corp. lines since then. Some of them were short cruises, so my total in OBC is only $750. Between the OBC, dividends, and increase share price, I'm very happy with my investment.
