hollyjess Posted June 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2016 Could anybody tell me if passengers using a mobility scooter get priority boarding.
Bronte30 Posted June 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2016 No, you don't get priority boarding but have a disabled check in and it doesn't take long to get on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
john watson Posted June 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2016 Assuming you have followed all the protocols relating to mobility scooters; type approval, appropriate cabin type, reported your intentions to P&O staff who deal with the disabilities and all the associated excursions etc. You should get assisted boarding to help you on and off the ship at start/finish of cruise. In this respect they do not like their quayside staff waiting around but getting on with the process as quickly and efficiently as they can. tokyo Posted June 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2016 It has been my experience that they try and get scooters etc on the ship asap. Scooters and pax walking is not a good mix when boarding a ship.

Well I board with everyone else and have not had a problem. Don't know why walking passengers and scooters cannot board together.??
