NCL Travel Planners

I booked a cruise on the Pride of America for Sept 2016 way back in April of 2014. Since then, every time I call Norwegian to ask a question, it seems the travel planner that I've talked to previously no longer works for Norwegian. Every time I call, I get a new person and a new extension to use the next time I call. When I key in that extension, that person is gone. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking that working for Norwegian is not a good thing.

We have the revolving door of NCL reps too. It's a call center environment and generally an "entry level" type of job, and it doesn't have much in the way of a career path for advancement. Three years ago I had to take an entry level job and, if it did not have a way to advance out of the call center and into a job that was more rewarding, I would have left after a year or so.

Dealing with the public is mostly a grind, not very satisfying, and shows you the horrible side of people daily. While it's only about 10% of the people who are truly awful, the other 90% don't compensate for being called names and treated like dirt. So most people move on quickly, either through promotions in great companies, or by leaving to a job that is more rewarding.
