js Posted June 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Hi. We will be sailing Breakaway in August. Does anyone know how much parking is for the week and can you pay cash or charge only. Thank you.
njhorseman Posted June 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2016 It's $40 per night or $280 for a 7 night cruise. Cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
DeeT Posted June 13, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Do we need a reservation in advance or can we just show up that day and park?

njhorseman Posted June 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Do we need a reservation in advance or can we just show up that day and park? No reservations are needed or taken. Just show up the day of your cruise.
joetop2467 Posted June 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 13, 2016 It is super convenient. Right between the ship and the Intrepid museum. We parked, checked into the cruise, and went to see the Intrepid Museum. By the way if you have a pass to a museum at home, it may get you into the Intrepid free. Our Cincinnati Museum Pass got us in to the Intrepid free. Worth your time if you get to Breakaway early. While we hated paying so much to park, it was nice to be able to look at our car from the ship and know it was safely and conveniently parked until our return. karuze Posted July 4, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 4, 2016 Question please I am confused the directions for parking state to go up the ramp from 55th but that reads pier 90 not 88. If someone can please help.
TYSONBOXER Posted July 4, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 4, 2016 When you go up to the roof top parking and pay, they will ask you what ship your going on. They then will tell you where to go to park. You will drive to the end of the roof which is pier 88 and park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rare mking8288 Posted July 4, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 4, 2016 NYC's MCT parking ramp on level 2 serving Pier 92, Pier 90 and Pier 88 - it's one long stretch from the elevated section at W. 55th Street running along 12th Avenue, on the "downtown" side closest to the Hudson River. You should find your way over to East Coast Departure subforum under Destination - and here, one of the many detailed, useful & helpful pictorial guide written by another CC member ... and, ask any followup questions there if you are still not sure. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2057865&highlight=nyc+parking
Zigggypup Posted July 4, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 4, 2016 If you have a nice car, I suggest that you get it waxed right before you park at the pier. Since the parking area is not covered, all the birds in the area will leave you a weeks worth of gifts. At least with a fresh coat of wax, it will be easier for the bird droppings to be washed off. You'll find that parking at the Pier is fairly straight forward & very convenient!
