No Embarkation Lounge in Seattle?

I've read a review stating there was no Platinum / Elite embarkation lounge available at the Seattle Cruise Terminal.

 

Can any additional passengers confirm this?

There is a section for priority embarkation.... It's actually very noisy ce, but not an actual "lounge." Last year, we had coffee and pastries. However, we didn't have the time to enjoy this as priority embarkation began early.

We boarded so fast on 6/4 that a lounge would have been unnecessary. We literally walked in, dropped our bags off, stood in line for 5 minutes for security, 2-3 minutes for priority check in and within 20 minutes of arriving at the port we were headed to our stateroom. It's the fastest I've ever embarked (and disembarked, for that matter) in my life.

I wouldn't quite call it a lounge, but if you are there before priority boarding has started there is a waiting area complete with coffee, juice, pastries etc.

A small area for maybe 40 pax at most. We got to enjoy it on our August departure, as we arrived around 11:10, but on our September departure it either didn't exist or you needed to be "in the club" (not sure which club), as reportedly "half the ship was platinum or higher" so many of the perks weren't offered. They did have a separate check-in line for green boarding passes (or whatever it is), and they were handing out much "better" numbered cards for boarding in waves, but no lounge per se.

It is just one large open area with different seating areas. In 2012 there were separate seating areas for Elite, Platinum and the rest. After those needing assistance boarding, the Elite were boarded, then Platinum, and then the rest. There were no beverages or snacks available for anyone.

When they finally started boarding, they called everyone in that area at once. Some people rushed ahead, but we took our time. When we got outside, one of the staff members said that there were two lines and motioned us into the second line. We ended up being first in that line, merely by chance... and actually ended up being first on the ship. :D

Glad they started providing something :) There wasn't even water in 2012 :(

On May 15th there was a cordoned off area for Elites/Suites only with pastries and beverages. There may have been another area for Platinum, but we were directed to the Elite area immediately after getting our cruise cards.

Every year when we sail out of Pier 91 it's a little different. This year was no different. Like “OfficerKrupke” said it was one the fastest embarkations we’ve had. There’s no real need for an Embarkation Lounge because you aren’t going to be there very long. This year we got to Pier 91 around 10:50am and never stopped walking until we were in line to get our keycard pictures taken on the gangway. They were boarding Blue cards in groups, the Elites and Platinum at the head of the line. They were saying something on the PA system, but I couldn't and most people couldn't understand what they were saying. We actually had to wait for a while for the MDR to open for lunch.
