messej01 Posted June 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Hi, I visited BVI and USVI in April and found the water temp way too cold too swim, the air temp was ok but I would prefer 10 degrees hotter. Am I better cruising further south or a different month? Water temp needs to be 79 and air temp 88 for me to be in holiday mode. Thanks
Clarea Posted June 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I'd go farther south, like the ABC islands.

Thanks You are going to have trouble with the air temp, as the tropics tend to average no more than 85 for the high, but in July and August the water temps will be in the mid 80's. We were in St Thomas over July 4. Seemed like it was 99F with 99% humidity. At home right now it's 108F with 11%. Water was bathtub temp.
