When can you go to your room

I can only think of twice (out of 80+ Princess cruises) when our cabin hasn't been ready upon embarkation. It's a nice payback for having to vacate the cabin by 8am on disembarkation day.

This hasn't been our experience on 11 Princess cruises. We have always been able to at least drop off our carryon bags. Once the steward was still finishing up a few things but there was no problem dropping off our stuff and putting valuables in the safe.

 

Call me paranoid, but when 30 plus cabin doors are open and people can randomly walk in to those cabins and stewards are busy inside other rooms .............not inclined to leave my carry on, till door can be closed......and have been on 20+ Princess cruises
