Condocat Posted June 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2016 Getting ready for our cruise next week on Canvival's Pride. Can anyone give me an idea of how cool the dining rooms might be? Do you need a heavy sweater or is the temperature comfortable? I realize everyone has different comfort levels but some places you go can be just downright freezing. I pray these dining rooms aren't like that! Any insights, experiences, will be most appreciated and helpful.
WendyCn Posted June 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2016 I typically need to wear a sweater or jacket. On formal night I have a shawl that I wear because I think it is chilly.
StolidCruiser Posted June 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) The Pride's dining room can be on the cool side. Sleeves are pretty much a must if you have any inclination toward the "chillies". Edited June 27, 2016 by StolidCruiser
Barbluvstocruz Posted June 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2016 I thought it was fine. I never took an extra sweater. However, I'm also someone that tends to like to be on the cooler side. :)
cruzelover55 Posted June 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2016 On my 1st cruise I only had a thin nylon windbreaker with me, in case of rain. BIG mistake! It didn't match any of my MDR outfits, but, believe me, I had it on in all inside venues and still was cold as it was so thin. Now, I always have a sweater or shawl for any inside activities. I don't consider myself cold natured, but land based casinos and cruise ships are cold to me. I keep the AC on 68 at home and my husband thinks it's chilly. Maybe it's just that when on a cruise (inside) or at a casino, just sitting makes me cold. If you don't want to take up space in your luggage, carry, a sweater or whatever on. I know I always need mine in the cruise terminal.:)
