venice disembarkation

we have the ship transfer from queen victoria to marco polo. Flight is not until 15.30hrs. Does anyone know what time we will be able to stay onboard till or would we be better storing our luggage and getting private transfer. Do not want to arrive at airport in the morning, as venice airport is a nightmare. Says on cruise personaliser we will know day before what time we leave venice.

ask your cruiseline about their disembarkation time, but in general, it's 9am. The crew need to prepare the cabins and ship for the next few thousand passengers who are trying to board early, as you are trying to stay late.

 

For a 15:30 flight you will need to be at the airport by 13:00. It's a 20 minute ride by cab or ATVO express bus. Personally I'd disembark early, leave my luggage at the private left luggage facility in Piazzale Roma, then explore for 3-4 hours. The buses and cabs leave from PRoma. ATVO is 8e pp and a cab will be around 40E.
