ExpatBride Posted July 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2016 That's what my boarding pass says. I know they like to get everyone out so then can prepare for the next sailing, but 6 am  Is that true?
jtl513 Posted July 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) Is that true? IMO that's probably just the starting time, and the last time will be around 9:30. Edited July 6, 2016 by jtl513

That is helpful for people who have planes to catch etc.
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2016 In many ports that is the arrival time for the ship. Before anyone can leave the ship, it has to be cleared by the local authorities. Usually self disembarkation people are the first to leave the ship starting anywhere from 7 - 7:30. Depending on what your travel plans, depends on the time you will be assigned to get off the ship. You will be given a form to complete the first couple days of your cruise where you indicate what your plans are for disembarkation day.
jtl513 Posted July 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 6, 2016 I just looked at our next two reservations - both say Arrival time 7:00, Debark time 7:00. I will be surprised if anyone can get off either before 7:30.
ExpatBride Posted July 6, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted July 6, 2016 We actually dock the night before. Fortuantely, we're taking a train home, and they leave twice an hour, so no hurry for us. I'm relieved that I won't actually have to be up before 6 am. Being a freelancer has ruined me... I think 8 am is early!
