Is my disembark time really 6 am?

In many ports that is the arrival time for the ship. Before anyone can leave the ship, it has to be cleared by the local authorities.

Usually self disembarkation people are the first to leave the ship starting anywhere from 7 - 7:30.

Depending on what your travel plans, depends on the time you will be assigned to get off the ship.

You will be given a form to complete the first couple days of your cruise where you indicate what your plans are for disembarkation day.

We actually dock the night before. Fortuantely, we're taking a train home, and they leave twice an hour, so no hurry for us.

I'm relieved that I won't actually have to be up before 6 am. Being a freelancer has ruined me... I think 8 am is early!
