Chesneygirl Posted July 12, 2016 Author #60 Share Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) Bermuda was our last port before heading back to NY. The kids and my husband decided to rent jet skis right in the Dockyard. This was the first time my daughter was old enough ride alone on her own jet ski. Needless to say she was quite excited. Chesneygirl Posted July 12, 2016 Author #61 Share Posted July 12, 2016 I just walked around the Dockyard and stopped by the Bonefish for a cocktail or two while they did their jet ski tour. Bermuda was extremely hot on this day and we have been here many times both by plane and cruise ship so we didn't feel the need to go beyond the Dockyard. Chesneygirl Posted July 12, 2016 Author #64 Share Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) Once my family was done with their jet ski tour, they returned to the ship to shower and change. Then met me at the Bonefish for lunch. After lunch and a few rum swizzles later we headed back to the ship. We were greeted by crew members handing out ice cold face cloths, icy pops and lemonade. Then we walked down a red carpet and were entertained by more crew members dancing and singing. Nice touch NCL!! Chesneygirl Posted July 12, 2016 Author #66 Share Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) Leaving Bermuda is always bittersweet for us because we know it means that our vacation is quickly coming to an end. The next day was spent at sea and was also a packing day. Our last night towel animal. Smitty74 Posted July 12, 2016 #69 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Can I ask how much the Jet skis cost to rent? I have a 9 year old, any chance I could pilot, and let her be a passenger?
Chesneygirl Posted July 12, 2016 Author #70 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Can I ask how much the Jet skis cost to rent? I have a 9 year old, any chance I could pilot, and let her be a passenger? I want to say that it was around $145 per jet ski and that was the single rate. The double rate might of been around $165 per jet ski. But I'm not 100% sure. Your 9 year old will have to be a passenger. The minimum age is 16 years old to have your own jet ski. Enjoy!! :)

riclop Posted July 13, 2016 #74 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Hi Everyone, I am going to attempt at putting together a photo blog type review of our Breakaway cruise from July 1 -10. I'm going to make this as quick and to the point as I can. I have many photos that I am excited to share with all of you but unfortunately writing is definitely not one of my strengths. Once this mini photo review is done, I will start putting together my traditional vacation video and a 2 bedroom suite video tour as well. For those of you who are not familiar with my vacation videos, I invite you to please click on the link below. :) A little background info: We are a family of 4 from Massachusetts, myself, husband, my son who is 20 years old and my daughter who turned 17 years old on this cruise. We booked this cruise last August because of the 9 day itinerary which was very enticing to us. . At the time of booking we decided to splurge and get a 2 bedroom suite in the Haven. WOW the Haven did not disappoint!! Included with our booking was the UBP, UDP, free gratuities and 250 minutes of internet. All were for the 1st and 2nd passenger only and the internet minutes were a flat amount to be shared. The ports of call were: Old San Juan, St Thomas, Tortola & Bermuda. We stayed one night pre cruise in NYC. We had tickets to a Yankee day game and stayed the night at the Marriott Marquis in Time Square. In summary, we loved everything about this cruise!! Of all the cruises that we've ever taken, this one definitely rates pretty high for all of us. For me personally, I think it was the best cruise I've ever taken! :) Up next: I will begin posting some photos with a captions. I hope you enjoy!! Thanks for the video.
