Coffee Makers in Staterooms

Hi All,

 

I thought I had read somewhere that there are coffee makers in the rooms. Does anyone know if 1) this is true and 2) what size coffee filter they need?

 

We are staying in a Mini Suite on the Getaway if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for your help!:D

Hey, I asked the same question in my thread, but my room was a balcony, not a mini suite.. Not sure if they would have bigger coffee makers in those, but this may help....

Getaway minis did have (probably still do) a coffee maker that uses a supplied filter with coffee. It was a one cup at a time machine I believe. I can't remember the brand machine. It wasn't the typical Mr. Coffee machine but not a K Cup type either.

Look at the post above. That is a balcony room we were in, but our mini was similar. The coffee maker is hard to see, but just other side of ice bucket.

A little help here, surely don't mind :D

 

*Away class ships - balconies and mini's have been using the same 1 cup coffee maker, with the flat filter pods. If you don't drink decaf - ask RS to give your more regular & extra sugar/creamer, etc. to ask daily runs to provisioning @ the buffet or O'Sheehans.

No. Sometimes your steward can find one for you, but not always.

You can have morning coffee delivered free if you put out the hangtag for it.

Thought I would ask for some advice on this. Would it work if we brought some starbucks coffee and filters would we be able to use them in this coffee maker? Thanks!

The coffee maker takes Hamilton Beach style coffee pods. Starbucks doesnt make them, but you can buy sealable filters that will let you make your own pods with any type of coffee you want to bring along. Here is the Amazon link for the filters. You fill them and seal them.

I don't recall tea in the staterooms, but Sauer-kraut is right - they are everywhere and free for the taking.
