Hi everyone,

We're doing a 15-day Panama Canal cruise in November and with just 6 port days, I'm a little curious about the best things to do on sea days aboard Infinity. I hope there are Zumba classes, but I can't work out all day. Were there things you particularly enjoyed? Tips about activities to avoid? Really want to try some new things, learn something and meet interesting people.

Thank you :D

We did a 15 day Panama Canal Cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Valparaiso last December.

I still work and I was just happy to have all the down time! I read a really long novel, took naps and watched movies because I did have so much time.

Definitely spend some time lounging at the Thalassotherapy pool. So relaxing, especially the day after a busy port day.

Buy a three dinner package once you get on board and try QSine and the Tuscan Grill if you haven't tried them before. Love the poached egg station at the OceanView café for made to order Eggs Benedict.

But I didn't find too many "different things" The usual trivia contests, bingo and such.

If you're on a roll call, you may want to ask there and find others with like interests.

Enjoy your cruise.

Most folks want to relax on vacation....if that's not you, consider a different itinerary! There is only so much you can do on a sea day...and most of it revolves around the pool, or casino....or other "paid" options. Big for the cruise line, not so much for your pocketbook!

We haven't done a cruise on an M ship with so many sea days, but we've done two transatlantic cruises with 7 days at sea at the end. There was a passenger choir with rehearsals every day. There was a fun art class and a group of us went every morning and even stayed to paint for an hour or so after each class and I'm not even a painter! There were 3 different lecturers who spoke each day almost. There were special concerts in the theatre by some of the headliners and Celebrity singers and musicians. I didn't spend one minute at the pool on either cruise, nor in the casino. There were rehearsals for flash mob dance and lots of other activities, more than usual, because of all the sea days.
