Hello! Does Royal Princess offer WiFi on board? I'm trying to decide if I need additional data plan for my iphone. I really just want to be able to text or email our children back in the US and to upload pictures to social media.

All Princess ships have internet access. Packages are available for purchase; see http://www.princess.com/learn/faq_answer/onboard/in_touch.jsp.

 

Passengers at the platinum and elite loyalty levels are given complimentary access; the number of minutes depends on the length of the cruise:

 

 

• 7 days or less - 150 minutes
  
• 8 - 20 days - 250 minutes
  
• 21+ days - 500 minutes

I have 20 cruises with Princess and get free min on Wifi - VERY SLOWWWWWW. maybe to check email but uploading pics, will EAT your min and they are pricey... If I did not get free, I would Not pay... and I LOVE princess.
