Ship time

We're sailing the Magic in 11 days (yay!) and something I though was no big deal and was silly to worry about now has me worried and confused. Ship time? I understand the ship stays on Port Canaveral time, but I've seen posts in the Ports of Call area that at least St Thomas may be 1 hour behind. We're stopping at Amber Cove, St Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk. When I pull them all up on my world clock they all look like they're in the same time zone as FL meaning ship time and local time would be the same. Am I missing something? Maybe I need to think about this after I've had my coffee.

They are the same time and will be during your cruise. Clocks won't change again until November.

Here is my question. In November, after we set our clocks back an hour wouldn't that put St Thomas one hour ahead of us since they won't turn theirs back? When would they be one hour behind us if they don't change their clocks?

Also need more coffee. :p

I wouldn't worry about any time but what time it is on the ship. Take a watch and set it to ship time and go by that time. Have been on 5 cruises and never had any problems or confusion with time. As you probably already know there are NO clocks on the ship.

There are clocks in numerous places throughout the ship. How else will you find 'ship's' time?

However, there is no clock in the casino just like land based ones. They don't want you to know how long you have been watching spinning wheels!
