Heronymous Posted July 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2016 (edited) Since I was having problems finding the current list of amenities provided, and my PCC has decided to just not bother responding back to me any longer, I was happy to receive this email today from the Concierge desk. I figured I'd post it to the forum in case anyone else has been looking for the same information. The hard decision is the liquor. Since we have the UBP, I'm thinking I'll bring the bottles home but that might be a challenge since we have to fly and glass bottles of liquor in luggage don't necessary go well together. -Keith Good Afternoon [REDACTED] Below are some of the complimentary amenities that will be made available to you, our valued Haven & Suites guests. Heronymous Posted July 27, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted July 27, 2016 So I take it that this is for all Haven guests? Or just specific suites? I don't know the answer unfortunately but my understanding is that all of the information *except* for the liquor applies to all "Haven Suites". I think only Owner's Suites get the 3 bottles of liquor, and the Garden Villas get 6 bottles and not 3, but don't hold me to that. If I remember correctly, the gem class ships have suites which aren't "Haven", so these wouldn't apply to those suites. (Unless things have changed since I was on the Gem) -Keith

Liquor and soda are for Owners Suites. You're going to love your time in the Haven. Your butler will deliver afternoon snacks so be sure to let him know what you like. Both were packed between soft clothes and made it home in one piece. I've done similar from NYC to Boston with a bottle of vodka as well. A neoprene wine tote might do the trick too. Alternately, the Rum Runner plastic flasks people use to smuggle liquor onboard work really well to take liquor home! I've used them to bring home a partial bottle from an in room bar set up on a couple of cruises. Edited July 27, 2016 by df5250
Kaptivate Posted July 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2016 We are booked into a haven for a cruise next year so I appreciate this info. It seems similar to the perks we received for our suite last year. However I am curious about a couple of things. I feel like we didn't really take advantage of our Butler and what could be offered to us last year. Is it true that we can ask for snacks such as gummy bears, or pitchers of sweet tea? I have heard such things but don't know anyone who has asked for such specifics. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I have heard such things but don't know anyone who has asked for such specifics. Of course, you can. Requests like that are simple. Fruits, finger-foods, candy, cookies, caviar, banana bread, mini-sandwiches,.....the list goes on. Just ask. :) You'll probably get a sample of different things to try even if you don't ask. Try them and if you want more of something (or something else), just speak up.

We actually brought back two bottles of champagne which were given to us last year on the Getaway after I proposed to Samantha on the ship. I figured we'd bring them home and save them, and pop them open once we get married to celebrate. When I opened my luggage, my clothing was soaking wet.. but it didn't smell like anything, so I don't know if somehow the suitcase got drenched in rain or what.. the champagne bottles still looked full so I'm hoping it was a wet bathing suit or something. Always Cruising Posted August 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 2, 2016 I have requested one of these on all of my 12+ cruises, and have never seen one! The Butler and room steward seem perplexed as well when I asked about them. Is there really such a thing? Other pillow requests were never fulfilled either, but the butler or steward was able to get extras the first or second day.

(Unless things have changed since I was on the Gem) All the amenities quoted do apply to Jewel class non-Haven suites, except the alcohol bar set up. Just off the Gem week or so ago (non-Haven Aft Penthouse.) Also, for those interested, Jewel-class non-Haven suite guests are also invited to Moderno breakfast/Cagney's lunch, and to the Haven VIP cocktail party (and of course, have the same butler/Concierge service as Haven guests.) We had put in our "pillow request"as we do each time, but didn't have it in the cabin. We have never had our pillow options fulfilled when requested pre cruise.
