craftymarie Posted August 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2016 looking for ideas please. we fly in on wed oct 26 for cruise on fri 28th . we are thinking of doing a graveyard tour/walk on wed pm. thur: duck tour early am followed by a couple hours in Aquarium, lunch then over to see the Constitution ship . most attractions close at 5pm so I am wondering what to do that evening. we are not foodies or drinkers so not interested in a restaurant/ bar/club. we were in Boston in 2013 so have done the freedom trail. not keen on art museums either. guess we could do some shopping but would prefer to sightsee. we are staying in Revere hotel Boston Common if that helps we are both fit and 50/56 y/o. thanks in advance Marie

chengkp75 Posted August 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2016 I know you said no restaurants, but dinner cruise? Odyssey Boston and Spirit of Boston offer cruises. Hope for some play-off baseball for the Sox?

julie3fan Posted August 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Skywalk at the Prudential Tower? We're planning on that the end of Sept. and can't wait to see the city lights at night!
138east Posted August 13, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Skywalk at the Pru sounds good. Also, you're there late in Oct, so the sun will be setting much earlier. Take the MBTA water taxi round trip from the Aquarium to the Constitution and time your return trip for sunset if there is one that day. http://www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/boats/lines/?route=F4 We were in Boston the 4th of July and ended up in a regular water taxi at sunset from the North End to the Seaport via East Boston - a totally unplanned wonderful trip.
