Monkey30 Posted August 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) Hi all.... quick question... due to a work schedule, my nephew is unable to get on the ship at our homeport. He will join the ship in Bermuda, our first stop (he has already received approval from Royal Caribbean). Rather than deal with the ferry, he has decided he's going to hop in a cab and take it straight to Royal Naval Dockyard. Does anybody know how long it will take, on a Saturday, to get to the dock from Wade airport? Also, any idea of the cost? Thank you, in advance, for any information you can give.:) Edited August 3, 2016 by Monkey30

njhorseman Posted August 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2016 I think the fare would be closer to $70.

jollyjones Posted August 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2016 He might want to consider getting a taxi to the Hamilton ferry terminal and then getting the blue ferry across to Dockyard - it will be cheaper and could be quicker, depending on exact timing, and isn't really much hassle. If you look at a map of Bermuda, you will see that it's a long curve around by land from mid-island to Dockyard, but a short hop by sea. seaexpress.bm will get you to the ferry schedule, but on a Saturday it runs hourly, on the hour, with the exception of noon, so: 9, 10, 11am then 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 pm. The taxi ride from the airport to town will take probably 30mins, maybe 35mins.
