satchiesmom Posted August 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2016 Our cruise documents usually show if a port is a tender port, but Grand Cayman is not listed as one. Is GC no longer a tender port?

My cruise documents shows dock as well, but it is still a tender port.
OCruisers Posted August 5, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2016 There is no dock so ALL ships must tender.
GalCruzer Posted August 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2016 O/T Question...How does the FTTF work with tendering? Or does it at all?
Mungo from the Shire Posted August 14, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 14, 2016 O/T Question...How does the FTTF work with tendering? Or does it at all? Normally there is a separate line at the gangway for fttf folks. They normally load first going to the island. Dont remember there being a separate line coming back. cb at sea Posted August 14, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 14, 2016 FTTF works if you MUST be in the 1st tender. Most folks aren't in a huge rush to get off the ship, so if you want, have a leisurely breakfast, and depart when you want! The tenders run all day! GalCruzer Posted August 14, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Thanks for those explanations re; FTTF. Interesting to know. :)
KCMiller Posted August 15, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 15, 2016 I wish FTTF worked on the tenders BACK to the ship - the lines (at any port, really) can be amazingly long. KC
SeaPA1 Posted August 16, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 16, 2016 What is FTTF? Or, in internet terms, *** is FTTF? ;)

SeaPA1 Posted August 17, 2016 #13 Share Posted August 17, 2016 Faster to the Fun - carnivals early boarding program Ah, gotcha. That would certainly come in handy on the wait to get back onboard at the end of the day - that's usually a looooooong line. My crew ended up knocking out a little bottle of banana rum to pass the time.

Sadly, the FTTF gets you priority boarding the tenders to go ashore, but not on the return to the ship, and I know in Grand Cayman, those lines can be really, really long!
