Harmony 3 day mini cruise form Ft. Lauderdale 11/5/16

Recommended Posts

This is the first cruise U.S. Cruise for The Harmony departing Ft. Lauderdale. While the prices for this three day cruise are as expensive as a 7 day cruise, so far RCCL has not made available the ability to reserve any of the shows in advance. I know that the passengers on the Thanksgiving cruise (which is few weeks later than this one) are already booking their shows on the RCCL site. Just wondering why this information is not available for this cruise. I had been on on a similar mini cruise when The Allure had her first departure from Ft. Lauderdale and there was no problem reserving the entertainment in advance online. Would appreciate any info or updates...thanks.

This is just a guess.

When it is such a short cruise, it's harder to schedule the entertainment. They cannot present everything, so they have to make choices on which things to cut. Takes longer to do that.

That would be a reasonable explanation except for the fact that over the last few years RCCL has had a several of these mini cruises on both the Oasis and The Allure and did not have a problem scheduling the shows online ...it's not a particularly unique situation for them.

Maybe a different Cruise Director who is not as familiar with 3-day cruises?

Some of our group have spoken with their travel agents and have been told by them that the shows are definitely available to be booked...not correct. Still find it strange that RCCL is not able to create the same show schedules that they have had on the previous mini cruises on The Allure and The Oasis. Hoping that the reservations will appear online in a day or two.

The weekend getaway (3 night) on Anthem in March did not have entertainment bookings until the 60 day mark.

While you may not agree w previous poster about what shows to have, it is the reason.
