Perks depend on which type of suite you're in. For bottled water you have to be in a Garden Villa, Deluxe Owners Suite or Owners Suite to get unlimited water. All other suites get one bottle in the room.

The Concierge line needs to address this ?Mis-information - currently all

Suites and cabin classes above that with the current PROMOS get the

UBP SDP and the sodas !?!

 

To perhaps muddle the clearness of the soda (package) -----

 

Sodas as mentioned in the Soda Beverage Package is the fountain soda poured

as a single serving at a bar or restaurant and NOT canned soda.

Canned Canada Dry Ginger Ale maybe an exception.

 

A MINI-SUITE does NOT get the SAME if ANY of the benefits of a SUITE !

A SUITE does NOT get ALL the benefits of DOS OS Haven or Garden cabins !

 

YES NCL could do a better job defining what cabin gets what !

Also the UBP SDP and the SBP !

UBP - Ultimate Beverage Package

SDP - Specialty Dining Package

SBP - Soda (fountain drinks) Beverage Package

 

NO water benefits except to the DOS OS Havens Gardens !

 

It is no wonder that there is the confusion and negative adjectives applied

to the FREE programs of NCL - when is FREE not so free ?

Let me see nothing times nothing that is free has a FEE ???

 

I would like to board and leave the ship "NUDE" - no not naked but really

free of the need for a financial monetary transaction for everything !

Then I could comment what is to NOT like about FREE !

Unless something has changed recently, that would be wrong. GV/DOS/OS get unlimited in room soda and water. Maybe the in room vs. general question about the soda confused them. If you are in a DOS you will also get to choose 3 bootles from a limited list of booze.

We were in a DOS on the Dawn in May and the butler replenished the soda and bottled water every day. The only soda we requested was pepsi and sierra mist. I told him he could take the rest away. The butler also brought me in cream for my coffee everyday (I don't like the creamers that they leave in the room). I didn't request that, he saw me with a cup of cream from the buffet one day and he said he would get it for me for the rest of the cruise and he did.

I did get the booze email and request. I'll see about the sodas on board.

 

Just to add to the confusion, I am traveling with my two young boys, so I did buy a kids soda package for them, but I don't know if I had to or not. I'd rather not have them binge on the in-room canned sodas and get charged, especially when they can have unlimited fountain soda.
