SOLO Review of the Norwegian Escape July 30th 2016

That night was 80's night and as I promised the solos coordinator, I had a ratchet outfit ready to go. So after we shut down karaoke I went for another outfit change (yes those are the shoes I used on the ropes course)

 

 

 

We were all getting pretty darn blitzed that night...

Me, A, and J pretty much closed down Skyline that night. Some friends went to O'Sheehans but we decided to use that moment to try out the Live From the Norwegian Escape photo booth. I loved looking at all of these when I got home.

Shortly after those pictures we were trying to grab drinks at the bar. I remember J and A had made friends with some other guys from the U.K.

 

I am not exactly sure what happened but somehow J bumped into my glass of wine spilling it all over me and the floor:

 

 

 

After that they cut me off and it was time for bed!

So I actually have very little memory of anything that happened the next day -_- I believe it was an At Sea day but I have no pictures of the day except for my outfit:

I think I unsuccessfully tried to convince some people to go on the waterslides. Like I said this cruise was definitely a bit rough being by myself. Looking back I think that part of that had to do with being so overwhelmed after the bar exam. I don't think I was quite myself at all. I am hoping my next solo cruise I can be a bit more relaxed.

 

Anyways, like normal the evening was spent winding down in the hot tub in Vibe. Lots of great conversation was had in there, lots. I'll just leave it at that...

That night was the Glow party so I donned the dress I had been saving for that very occasion:

 

 

That night J and I decided just to go down to O'Sheehans for a quick dinner before meeting the group. The food was alright, by then my body was basically failing from lack of proper food but I just sort of kept pushing on.

 

The Glow party was actually way cooler than I even thought it would be. The group all met in the solo lounge so we could use highlighters on our faces.

Something about being on the back of the boat with the cool breeze from the ocean that really just made me finally feel a bit relaxed. It was definitely a moment I had with myself, and I really enjoyed it.

 

I did however have my second run in with staff not believing my ID photo was mine. He really thought I was using someone else's card. It took a bunch of people having my back and then me even pulling out my phone to fine selfies of when I looked like a hot mess for him to serve me. Man, I really hope those photos are gone forever -_-

 

After the Glow party we went down to Skyline. I really can't remember much at this point about what happened or where I went. I'm pretty sure that's the night that A was enjoying the oceanfront that he fell asleep on one of the couches.

I'm not one to get bothered by children. I think babies cries are sort of cute (can you tell I haven't had children).

 

Anyways after dinner we went up to 5'oclock somewhere bar so karaoke. I did my usual songs "B$&@*" by Meredith Brooks and "You Outta Know" by Alanis

 

It was the usually sub par singing, and then this happened...
