Packed Lunches Celebrity Silhouette

In almost every port, local agricultural regulations prohibit bringing any food onshore that is not in factory sealed packages (things like protein bars or cereal boxes are usually OK). Some ports will have dogs sniffing everything you bring ashore to make sure there are no violations, which can result in the item being confiscated and/or heavy fines in some cases. Your daily newsletter will list local rules. Someone will inevitably post that they had no problem doing it, but they are probably the lucky exceptions.

There are not ice machines except small ones to fill glasses in the buffet areas. You can ask for a filled ice bucket in your cabin, but if you're thinking about enough ice to fill a cooler, it's probably not going to happen. Some longer tours furnish lunch or have a stop where you can purchase food.

As noted, ice is available for drinks at the buffet. There are several ice machines on each deck of cabins, but they are not for passenger use because of USPH sanitation requirements. As noted, ask your cabin steward for ice, and in many cases, you can get them to bring enough to fill your cooler.

Also as noted, it is against most local agricultural laws to bring non-factory sealed food ashore. You will most likely not be allowed to bring unsealed (open) beverages back aboard as well.

Are we allowed to bring food or sandwiches from the ship on our tours and are there ice machines on board, is ice available for free?

no and no.

you can request ice delivery from your cabin steward who will service the room twice daily.. once breakfast time and once mid tolerate afternoon( dinner time ish)

only factory sealed items can be brought off the ship in any port.
