ShoesShirtsandSand Posted September 8, 2016 #26 Share Posted September 8, 2016 The pics of the District Brewhouse Menu are about 2/3rds of the way down, after the pool pics- Credit to Gambee.. :D (which btw, is an excellent review of the escape as a whole) http://www.cruisewithgambee.com/norwegian-escape-review-chapter-2/

jetboy66 Posted September 10, 2016 #28 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Can anyone name some of the beers available here? Are they draft or bottles? Thanks! 24 or 25 beers on tap. Many more in bottles. They had two of my all time favorites on tap. Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and Left Hand Milk Stout. That's all I had. The UBP is awesome. Lol. weltek Posted September 12, 2016 #30 Share Posted September 12, 2016 LOL that would be Bo Tahana! He was hilarious, but had the same routine/jokes every night. We still went and still laughed. He was a good warm-up to Howl at the Moon :) Different strokes for different folks! We really did not like Bo's style.
weltek Posted September 12, 2016 #31 Share Posted September 12, 2016 It's also nice that the bartenders and servers all must pass the Cicerone Certified Beer Server exam. This means they know something about beer, so can make good recommendations (and good conversation).
LrgPizza Posted September 12, 2016 #32 Share Posted September 12, 2016 Different strokes for different folks! We really did not like Bo's style. I liked Beau a lot, but I definitely liked Tom better. At one point, Beau played only 2 songs during a 30 minute period, because the rest of the time he was talking or just staring. I think we were his last cruise before going home, so he was over it by then. Ha! We did enjoy him though.
TheDougOut Posted September 12, 2016 #33 Share Posted September 12, 2016 Different strokes for different folks! We really did not like Bo's style. My mom's response to Beau was something along the lines of "I couldn't figure out what he was trying to do." Made me laugh at the time.
thano13 Posted September 14, 2016 #34 Share Posted September 14, 2016 District Brewhouse is one of the reasons I picked a room on deck 8. That and the large balcony. It's going to be so nice to just walk a few feet to get a drink.
wwwfla Posted September 14, 2016 #35 Share Posted September 14, 2016 Can anyone name some of the beers available here? Are they draft or bottles? Thanks! They have a beer recommended by a Belgium man to me. It is Duvel in a bottle. It is a Golden Ale, one of a kind 8.5% and it is smooth. They also have a Duvel on tap but it is more of an IPA and not as smooth.
