Accuracy of Deck Plans

I'm just curious as to the accuracy of the deck plans for the various ships. For instance, when I was on the Star Princess, the corner aft cabins had oversized balconies that were not originally depicted on the deck plans. And on the Legend, I'm in a Category M cabin that is drawn lager than the other Category M cabins on the deck plans. While I realize the deck plans are not to scale, does this suggest that this cabin may be somewhat larger than others in the same category or is it just an oops?

Just wondering what others have noticed.

That's how I learned about the extra large balcony on Princess. If it were not for this board, I'd have no clue.

I'm in 6061 on the Legend right next to the elevator and noticed that it was drawn bigger than the others in the same category. While that's not why I booked it, I was curious as to why it was drawn larger than the rest. It's not a handicapped cabin, so that's not the explanation.
