ryansmum Posted September 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2016 Ah, thank you very much. The .co.uk website doesn't give as detailed info :) :) :) Yes but if they are GHD's you normally have to use the European socket
cb at sea Posted September 20, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2016 Cruise lines know that women wouldn't cruise if they couldn't fix their hair! The "no iron" thing is simply a "bottom line" thing for the cruise line.....has nothing to do with "safety"...as other lines have irons for passenger use!!! Gingerbint Posted September 21, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 21, 2016 Yes but if they are GHD's you normally have to use the European socket I've used both my flat (US) and round (Europe) pin adapters with my GHD's and never had an issue with either. DiamondSuiteCruiser Posted September 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 21, 2016 I've used both my flat (US) and round (Europe) pin adapters with my GHD's and never had an issue with either. My Chi flat iron is 110/220 so I take an adapter and it is great, it free's up the 110 plugs.

rusty nut Posted September 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 21, 2016 Perhaps it was a judgement error on Royal's part but my sister had her flat iron (hair straightener) taken from her on our Majesty cruise lats August.
