Ever been in a cabin close to the elevator?

Most of our cabins have been on the hump. We've never had any elevator noise at all.

Exactly. The elevator itself isn't loud at all ... but when you're near the elevator, you're in a high-traffic area, and those people are LOUD. I won't stay mid-ship again.

 

I agree here. I'd rather live with the long walk to the elevator than the 'traffic'.

 

We were on the hump on Radiance and Serenade but opposite side from the elevators.

Cabin # 6542 LOS. I just noticed it close to the elevator. Has anyone experienced much noise in this or a similar cabin? thanks

Brilliance, Liberty and now Adventure! The only problem I noticed was on Liberty and the kids to 20 somethings jumping down flights of stairs at night! I also think this is why they pump in soft music to the cabins is to help block it! Never had an issue with bands playing!
