New Royal Survey

I understand where you are coming from... but SMOKING does occur in the Casino, a indoor PUBLIC area. Once it goes away, we can talk about Casino without bringing up smoking. That would be wonder conversations and I look forward to that day. You guys even said, SMOKING GOES ALONG WITH DRINKING AND GAMBLING, so it is part of the Casino. We are just trying to get rid of it in a PUBLIC indoor area that in most all civilized countries in BANNED.

 

I am sorry if we can't all get along, I am willing too..... hopefully soon there will be a SMOKE FREE casino for us all to enjoy...

Yes it is, tried and proved, part of Royal... it is coming.. EMPRESS Casino is now NON SMOKING... which US SHIP is next.. can't wait...

 

Personally, we can go on most any cruise ship, we just happen to enjoy Royal... we have looked to other cruise lines for some trips...

 

I guess try Celebrity is the only thing you guys got left....

Why? The original post specifically mentioned a survey asking people for their thoughts about smoking on board. Therefore, this is a smoking thread. Don't like it, don't read it.

I also receiving the survey and it was not a smoking survey. Out of 25-30 questions only a few questions were related to smoking, so there is no need to carry on with smoking anymore on this thread. This thread is also concerning other questions on the survey. And if you did not receive the survey, you and someone else have nothing to add to this thread.

Exactly what Graham said - it was not a post cruise survey but geared to taste levels, branding and then some smoking questions related to the casino. We are Club Royale so that explains it. And yeah, let's not turn this into yet another smoking/no smoking rant. Obviously they are considering making some changes but who knows what will happen. They want gamblers in there!

 

And yeah they mentioned some coffee brand I had never even heard of. I probably made them crazy on all the restaurant questions since we're not big on chain restaurants. Every answer I gave was "upscale locally owned restaurant". :D

 

I like the one question where they asked you if you were celebrating a special occasion which of these restaurants would you dine at. I told them I would never select a chain restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. I also selected all upscale choices on their questions for hotels and handbags. Regarding the coffee question, I don't drink coffee and they wanted to know why I didn't select Lavazza.

 

Apparently changes are coming, but couldn't figure out why they are asking about hotel choices. Maybe they'll have a partnership with a hotel chain.

Ok, this actually made me laugh. I WROTE the original post. So thanks, I'll continue to read the thread I started.

And yes smoking in the casino was only part of the survey. Smoking is still allowed in every "civilized" land based casino I've been in. That may indeed change in the future but for now, everyone is entitled to their opinions on it and everyone can make their own decisions about going in. Moving on....

The bulk of the survey seemed to be trying to get an idea of people's choice in food quality and an idea of their lifestyle choices such as where the spent their shopping dollars.

 

Linda - thanks, I couldn't remember that coffee brand. Never heard of it. Perhaps they are thinking of partnering with them?

Some want to stifle our voice regarding SMOKING in the Casino. But we are a movement making ground. More and more ships are banning smoking in the Casino.

 

These are smokers so scared of losing one last place to smoke in public.

Hahahaha [emoji23] Well excuse me, I didn't realize this thread was so exclusive. Lol. Let me step aside so those of you whose opinions are so important can discuss, while the rest of us just read it and wish we could be a part of your special gamblers club.

 

I went to the casino once on my last trip. Gambled 2 $50 hands of blackjack and then left because the guy next to me lit up. I am a huge gambler and I don't gamble a small amount, but I don't gamble on the ship because it stinks. If Royal wants the opinions of people who could affect their gambling profits, maybe they SHOULD be asking some of us why we don't go.

 

As for the rest of the questions, I wasn't so lucky to get the special survey because I don't gamble on the ship, so I'm sorry but I was only able to reply to the part of the original post that stood out to me as meaningful. My apologies [emoji849][emoji57]

Or suite rant, or bookng hold rant or seats in lounges rant.
