In Florida, you can check on your phone by dialing 511 for travel alerts and traffic. https://fl511.com/#:Alerts Mathew is heading towards Jacksonville, Florida.... She is past Port Canaveral, but we are all still experiencing the outer bands of the hurricane... Many without power still... I am currently at a Universal hotel and we are being told the storm surge is only about 6-8 feet above normal. We are pretty confident the main band will be above us by 3 pm local.
