wizdiz Posted October 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I have gotten massages at a spa before but never been in any type of therapy pool besides on the Getaway. While I really enjoyed I just thought the pools were almost at room temp. Is this normal for a spa for the water to not even really be warm? Maybe lukewarm at best. I mentioned to the people at the desk and they said they do the temp they're told. I just thought would be much more therapeutic is the water was hotter. Room temp would be cool to the skin.
NH Cruisers Posted October 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I have heard about 98* F to 99*. About 5* F or so cooler than a hot tub. Every one on any cruiseline I have been on they were warmer than a standard pool and not as hot as the hot tubs.
Quilting_Cruiser Posted October 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I've had spa passes on all three of my NCL cruises, and on the first two, I experienced similar--thought the therapy pool should be hotter. That was on the Jade and Epic. Just got off the Pearl last weekend and the pool was actually hot. It was SO nice!
