Is the credit card worth it?

I received an offer in the mail from the Carnival MasterCard people to apply for the card and pay off our upcoming cruise and getting their bonus points. Question for those who have this credit card is it worth it or should I stick to my Costco credit card and get the 3% cash back that they offer on travel purchases?

I have one. I like the points don't expire. I love the benefits but, dont have a costco here.

I had one for 5 years and only got enough points for a $20 gift card. not worth it

i love mine got four hundred dollars in credit for my january cruise and most of my uses are reinbursed from my company

We like ours. It's paying for over half our upcoming cruise. But remember, as with all credit cards, you must pay the entire balance monthly for it to be an asset to you.

The Costco card is better. If you open this card your credit score will dip due to the inquiry and also because you are adding another card to your profile that has no history and will lower the average length of time you have held your credit cards. The 3 percent for travel is better than Carnival's at 2 percent.

When it first came out it was good but now we hardly use it.

 

Sams with 3% travel and restaurants and 5% gas is much better.
