Iron and Ironing Board on the Breakaway

Hi guys, wondering if there are irons available on the Breakaway. I've been hearing mixed answers. If anyone who's been onboard recently can let me know, I'd appreciate it!

 

P.S. I know that you can send it out, and I know that there is a laundry special offered. I'm ONLY interested in whether I can get an iron in the cabin.

My DH and I were on the Breakaway this past September.

Our steward suggested that I call housekeeping for an iron and ironing board to be delivered to our cabin.

I was told by housekeeping that I could use them for a few hours , then I should let housekeeping know when I was finished and the iron and board would be picked up.

I only used this service once to get the packing creases out of our clothes.

I am sure that if I did need to iron again during the cruise, I could have called housekeeping again.

When we were on the Breakaway in June the people next door asked the cabin steward for an iron and ironing board. We saw him put it in the cabin a short time later.

My mom requested one on our last cruise on a day we were docked and it took forever, surprising since you would assume most people were out and about. My advice is to iron before you need the things don't wait until the day of.
