taxi or private shuttle from Whittier to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center?

hi, just wondering if anyone knows if there are private taxi's or shuttles that can be hired for transportation only (not a guided tour) from Whittier to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for a group of ten people? just one-way transportation.

 

I know about a couple shuttle companies that do a Whittier-to-Anchorage route and might stop at the Wildlife Center briefly then go on to Anchorage. $30-$45 pp. But just wondering if there is another option more like a taxi.

(I don't have any experience with either vendor but in trip reports I've read where the Magic Bus and Salmonberry Tours were used for private transportation.)

There are several shuttle operators that transport cruise passengers from Anchorage to Whittier when a ship is in. They may be going back to Anchorage empty. You may want to contact them to see if they want the extra leg from Whittier to the Wildlife Conservation Center before heading back to Anchorage. Do a search for Anchorage to Whittier shuttles.
