We had a cruise booked out of FL on Serenade on 3/27/17. RCI called us and said the cruise was cancelled so we rebooked different cruise The original one was perfect (loved the Islands) I now see it listed on RC, what is up with that? Should I call them, we had a great price for a GS and now they have gone way up. :(

I am just guessing but it may now be a charter??

It is not a charter. It is showing availability. I would call RC immediately to find out why they called you and said the sailing was cancelled. They should have all your paperwork from your original booking. You could ask them if they can re-instate your original booking, at the original price you had. This should be able to be done through Resolutions. You may not be able to get your original cabin. They show only 1 Grand Suite available.

Same here and our reservation is still active for a Jr. Suite. Recently just made another payment. If the cruise was cancelled, I doubt they would be taking money.

RCI is still accepting reservations. There is no indication this was cancelled. Suspect the OP was a victim of a prank caller or maybe their payment bounced. Has not been back to comment so I suspect the complaint may be a troll pattern. I've seen this before on forums.

Hi i am on this sailing 3/27/17 on Seranade of the Seas...we booked a year ago for this cruise...so far i have heard nothing of a cancelled cruise...and my balance of the trip was just paid off....
