hawkeyetlse Posted October 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2016 (edited) Anyone.....must you purchase a Spa Pkg to qualify for Thermal spa usage in any form? You need to purchase a "thermal suite pass" (either a day pass or a pass for the whole cruise) to use the thermal suite. Most people call this a "spa pass", it's the same thing. This is what costs $199 for 7 days on the Getaway ($20 off if you purchase online). Spa treatments (like massages and facials, etc.) do not give you access to the thermal suite. There are spa packages that combine several treatments for a discounted price, but those don't give you access to the thermal suite, either. qtpy1001 Posted October 30, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2016 How much is a day pass to the spa? Is there a limited number of them sold? We are both sun worshipers and really can only see us utilizing the thermal suite if it was cloudy or rainy. Thanks!
Rare BirdTravels Posted October 30, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2016 In general, day passes are not available if the weekly passes sell out. And in general, daily passes are not available on sea days. (Just during slower port days). We always get weekly passes and this observation is based on 11 cruises on NCL mega ships. We were just on the Dawn, and they did not sell out weekly passes, but still were not selling daily passes.
qtpy1001 Posted October 30, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Great info! Thanks! Can OBC be applied to the week long pass (or daily pass if available)? I know that it can be used for spa services, just not sure about the thermal spa pass. Thanks!
