DIY Beach Day for Group - January 2017

Hi,

I will be traveling to Barbados in mid-January with a group. Ages will range from 1 - 65. What do you guys recommend for a DIY beach day? I've read a lot of great reviews on The Boatyard, but was wondering if it would be appropriate for the differing ages in our group. We would also be open to any other beaches that are in close proximity to the port that would be appropriate for our group.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

There are other beach clubs along the same stretch as the Boatyard that you should investigate - most offer chair and umbrella rental, along with food/drinks and facilities, but they do not offer the water toys and pier that might appeal to your kids and the young at hear (but old of bones) in your group.

Your call!

Do you have the names of the other Beach Clubs near the Boatyard? Tx

Lobster Alive and Harbour Lights are the two that I recall - the area is called Carlisle Bay. I'm sure a google or trip advisor search will turn up more options.

Just in case you are interested in The Boatyard, check out my review of our day there a few months ago. It was a beautiful beach and the price also included a boat tour out to swim with the turtles. My review has TONS of pictures to show you around the place. :)

The link in your signature isn't working. I am very interested in your review. We love turtles and I wanted to schedule a snorkel with turtles but MIL is refusing to snorkel so we can just leave her in her chair.

All links in my signature are working and confirmed. Are you by any chance on a tablet instead of an actual computer? That may be the problem.
