ready2cruzagain Posted November 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2016 I have done b2b's on Carnival, Princess and Celebrity but never on NCL. I just assumed it would be the same but now I am curious as I get closer to our b2b. (Plus it is never good to assume.:D) On the other lines when changing cabins we pack up our belongings the morning of the turn around and our cabin steward moved them. We left our clothes on hangars in closet but put everything else inside suitcases. Is this the way it is done on NCL? or is it different? Thanks! Cruzncutie Posted November 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2016 Yes. You pack everything in your suitcases and leave them in the room. We didn't leave our clothes on the hangers. Just make sure you have a NCL luggage tag with the new cabin number on each bag that is being moved. You will get a detailed instruction letter approx. two days before the end of the first leg. We are on our second leg of a B2B right now on the Getaway. It was simple and painless [emoji846] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
ablodget2 Posted November 3, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2016 We did b2b on the Escape in May in Miami and are doing b2b on the Dawn starting 11/11 for 16 days. It was a very easy experience. You get totally complete information. All b2b had to meet at a designated space and time and were escorted off the ship together to go through customs and reboard. Very short time. Our steward moved our bags (we also did not leave clothes on hangers). We were greeted with a bottle of wine and treats in our new stateroom as a thank you for booking a b2b. I assume we will have to disembark in New Orleans for this b2b also.
17cruisesnsl Posted December 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2016 I've been on many cruises but never a b2b. We're booked on a b2b, as two separate reservations, on the Escape -- since we're in the same cabin for both weeks, I assume we can just leave everything in place in our cabin. I'm curious about the paperwork - do you present both weeks at initial check-in? Do you go to guest services for your new room key? My DM will need a wheelchair escort which I'm assuming the Concierge can arrange. Thanks so much!
