Theme nights - help wanted, please...

Just received our cruise documents.... YES!!! :)

 

We like to dress up and comply with the dress code. Is there a way to know in advance which theme night(s) they will set up for a particular cruise? Our documents only mention "for example" white night, 70's night etc. Nothing specific. With the airlines bagage restrictions it is difficult to be prepared for everything...

On Divina eastern Carib:

Sunday is White Party - late party in Black & White lounge tho' many wore something white to dinner.

Monday is Gala Night/Italian Night (semi formal) Guests encouraged to wear green, white or red, or a combination

Thursday is formal night - smart dress, jacket for men.

 

They also have a flower power party on 70s night - Tuesday or Wednesday.

You really don't have to participate.

Thanks PaulnKarl, that clarifies. I hadn't realized there could be more than perpaps one or two per cruise.

It is not really about not wanting to participate or not.

It is just that it seems most people do not.

The only way we remember what the theme is, is because the waiters dress accordingly. Very few others do.

Were you, perhaps, on an altered itinerary? We were on her Oct. 22 and Sunday was formal (Gala) night. Nassau, Bahamas stop.
