Tony1878 Posted November 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2016 Hi all, just booked my first RCI cruise, going through some of the threads it mentions having to book a time slot in the restaurant and theatre. Can someone please explain how this works? I thought anytime dining meant just that. How are the restaurants about just having a table for 2? When we sailed on Princess, we just showed up ay the restaurant, if it was busy, they just gave us a pager and called us when ready, this suited me fine as we just went off and had a pre dinner G&T. Are there any other tips you can give me? Thanks in advance.
cb at sea Posted November 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2016 Depends on the ship...anything Independence class or lower...no reservations needed. Oasis and above...reservations are recommended..but not a must, if you're flexible with your times!

You have the option to reserve times (some do)...but we personally like the flexibility of eating when we want no reservations necessary...and we always opt for a table for two...no problem. Enjoy !!
