Just got off a sailing with Carnival, Loved the Hub App. Traveled with a party of 19, made keeping in touch so much easier. Please tell me NCL is planning something similar.

Most of the ships allow you to use the NCL Iconcierge App to text, call, make dinner and show reservations.

NCL has had it for a long time. It's called IConcierge. Look on the front page of the website under Downloads.

I'm not sure if all ships have iConcierge yet and I if I remember correctly, there is an initial $7.99 or $9.99 set up fee per phone to use the communication feature, but very much worth the price - when it works. Last 2 times on the Escape, it was a bit iffy (dropping off WiFi or not being able to connect) I'm not sure how much of that was phone related and how much was NCL though....
