We had no problem with the hotel. Room was nice, bathroom clean, breakfast was very good. We did however have a problem leaving our truck parked there. When we got back from our cruise someone had stolen our tailgate. The hotel personal said that it happens all the time. I sure with they would have warned us before hand. If you leave your truck be sure you lock your tailgate. A new tailgate for our truck us $7,000.

No, I ment $7,000. It is a 2016 F450 Platinum. I couldn't believe how much it was. Just ask the ford dealer.

Very sorry about this. Hope your insurance covers most or all of this loss.

In hindsight, it might be better to leave vehicles in a secure location like Park n Go.

Not trying to be one of this "negative-nelly" folks BUT isn't that covered under your auto insurance policy

Even if insurance covers it, it is a hassle to have to deal with it all. Plus, it could cause your rates to go up. PLUS, you may have a deductible you have to pay.

I guess since I grew up in a big city, I always lock everything, everyday.

Yes, it is, I was just trying to be a nice guy and warn other people so maybe it won't happen to them. Lighten up a little
