shelby101 Posted November 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2016 We had no problem with the hotel. Room was nice, bathroom clean, breakfast was very good. We did however have a problem leaving our truck parked there. When we got back from our cruise someone had stolen our tailgate. The hotel personal said that it happens all the time. I sure with they would have warned us before hand. If you leave your truck be sure you lock your tailgate. A new tailgate for our truck us $7,000. Hope your insurance covers most or all of this loss. In hindsight, it might be better to leave vehicles in a secure location like Park n Go. DaveOKC Posted November 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2016 Not trying to be one of this "negative-nelly" folks BUT isn't that covered under your auto insurance policy Even if insurance covers it, it is a hassle to have to deal with it all. Plus, it could cause your rates to go up. PLUS, you may have a deductible you have to pay. I guess since I grew up in a big city, I always lock everything, everyday.
