mchlhaystead Posted November 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2016 We have a party of 14 sailing, can the dining room fit all of us the same table? Hope so. Sent from my SM-T210R using Forums mobile app
wander Posted November 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2016 While I cannot answer your question about the possibility, I would suggest you might consider the downsides of such a large table and think instead of a table for 8 and an adjacent table for 6 folks. In an already somewhat dining room, conversations at a table for 14 would be severely limited except between folks sitting next to each other. Even a table for 8 some folks find table-wide conversations very difficult. In a private home or private restaurant room 14 at a table might work - but I would question even that in terms of any meaningful whole group conversations. The group could rotate folks between the 2 tables each night- allowing folks to talk with different others some evenings. Just a suggestion to think about. Wheatie59 Posted November 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2016 No, you won't all fit at one table. You need to be sure all your reservations are linked. Then they will seat your group at two tables that are close together.
CruzVinnieCruz Posted November 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2016 We have had large parties on the same cruise and Carnival will seat the group at tables next to each other but a party of fourteen will not be at one table. As others have stated just make sure all the reservations are linked to each other. Take care, Vinnie

You are going to have an almost impossible time getting 14 at 2-4 tables right together with YTD. Edited November 15, 2016 by A&Jfamily
mrpayroll Posted November 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2016 There are no tables that seat 14 people.
ready2cruzagain Posted November 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 15, 2016 There are no tables that seat 14 people. This is incorrect. We were on the Liberty and there were 14 of us seated at a long table by the window. It is possible.
