Catacombs from Palermo port

Thought I could get there by hoho bus but it doesn't appear to be on route

What would be easiest way and is it far??@

We took the excursion from the ship, however you get there, it is worth seeing. Fascinating.

We took a cab. Go early if you can as they get crowded later. Tour busses were just arriving as we were leaving.

Be a bit careful. We were quoted a price for the morning cab ride and when we were finished the cab driver claimed that was the per person cost. DH just laughed and gave him the original agreed upon price. The cabbie grumbled but accepted what we gave him.

Can you remember how much you paid? We plan to catch a taxi as well.

So did the cab wait for you while you visited the catacombs? I'm just nervous about a ride back. This is my first time out of the US so I'm a little anxious about doing anything on our own. Thank you

We had a taxi driver give us a tour of the town including catacombs then to a local restaurant where they spoke no English and we spoke no Italian , but we had a great meal
